Down 227$. I guess the good news is that I am still up $3,300 all-time, but to be honest these 2 weeks have sucked and neither have been close. I am lucky that these have been relatively small wagers.
Sned was obviously healthy and Gay was just putrid. Playing the par 5s in round 3 at +2 is bad. Obviously JB Holmes is a fade next week and the same with Jacobsen I am just losing confidence on these fades until I read quotes and more confirmed information.

I played Gay -135 (some at -125) over Snedeker. Risking 100 to win 75

Play should be straightforward. Gay has a nice record here, and a great short game. He comes off a solid finish in Hawaii. No real news about Sned and his injury, so it's a little bit of an unknown. Sned is capable of getting hot and making a ton of birdies, just banking on him starting off with a 70 or so and being a tad rusty. Will likely add 1 more. Looking at the Sr tour and a possible fade on Wiebe.

Was 3 under on the day (started on the back) and managed to take the lead on Johnny Vegas. Then came the turn and went 4 over thru 7 and was now 2 strokes under the cut line. Birdie. Eagle. The finish at least gives us 2 more days of golf. We'll see what happens with Vegas coming in.

Its been an interesting year. I have a had a positive week 12 out of the 15 weeks so far this year. However in 2 out of the 3 losing weeks ($361@ Transitions, $412 @ Matchplay, $77 @ Pebble) I lost more in that one week, than what I won in any individual week.(Top individual winning weeks $350 @ Masters, $181 @ Honda, $150 @ Heritage, $141 @ Riviera, $122 @ Pebble. If I would have flat bet I would be dominating right about now, but I'm still up like 700 on the year. Were in a nice little groove right now, lets keep it up.

HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. – Boo Weekley, a two-time winner at Harbour Town (2007, ’08), is off to a slow start this season. In nine events his best finish is a tie for 24th in Puerto Rico and the primary culprit for his pedestrian play is his putting.

We spotted Weekley working with putting guru Mike Taylor Tuesday afternoon at Harbour Town, and marveled at his show of consistency as the pride of the Florida panhandle calmly rolled in six consecutive 10 footers.

“I can make ’em here, it’s out there we’re working on,” Weekley said. “Building confidence.”

I like that hes been out practicing. His game has shown signs of life. Good luck

When he returned to Augusta National this week, he moved back into the same house he rented last year, and his family was to arrive Wednesday, just like a year ago. But those are the only similarities to last year when he came so close to becoming, at 48, the oldest Masters champion.

"It was a great opportunity I let get away," he said. "I'm not near the player this year that I was last year."

Perry's problems began in January at the SBS Championship in Hawaii. Minutes before going to the first tee he broke his putter, the one he had used so effectively in three victories in '08 and two last year.

"My son was with me," he said, "and I told him then this was a bad sign for this year."

Perry tied for sixth in Hawaii, but that's the only top-10 finish he has had in six starts. He even missed the cut in the Arnold Palmer Invitational last month. He's a former champion at Bay Hill, and in '08 and '09 he missed just two cuts in 48 starts, going 24-for-24 last year.

"I've got swing problems, too," he said. "I'm hitting blocked shots and pulled shots. I'm really hitting some bad shots."

It's never good going into a major with swing flaws, but it's especially troubling at Augusta National where the fairways are so uneven that any little slip will lead to an errant shot, and an errant shot leads to high scores.

"I hit some shots (on Monday) that I just had to laugh about," he said.

"Last year my game was completely different. I was confident in my putting. I was confident in my swing. Now, nothing seems to be going well."

Perry has long struggled with putting, but four years ago a friend gave him an old Ping putter that proved to be the solution to his problem. When he broke the shaft, just hitting a warm-up putt, he was concerned, but he thought it could be repaired.

"I sent it back to Ping and they must have put two or three shafts in it, but it has never looked the same," he said. "The face always looks closed to me. They must have sent me 10 more putters, but none of them look like the original."
