Masters Recap..

58 year old and 2 time Masters champion Tom Watson shot a 75 today and did not make the cut at Augusta National Golf Club. However, his championship caliber play is an example for others. It starts with honor.

"I'm getting old," Watson said. "Last year I hit the wrong ball by mistake, and today I forgot to move my ball back when I moved the coin for a two-stroke penalty. I'm losing strokes the easy way by doing stupid things."

A nice quote, but Watson is leaving something out. That two-stroke penalty he is talking about he imposed on himself. It was unclear as to whether or not anybody would have noticed his procedural error, but to Watson it did not matter. He called himself on the error and insisted on taking a two-stroke penalty.

And Watson lost by 2 strokes..

Els +1.15
Singh +3.3
Poulter +3.3
Watson -2.56
Tiger -7.7

(3 - 3 -2.513)

Not looking good this year :(
