I wasn't gonna post this, and wait until the interviews but I figured why not. The line jumped out to me as the wrong guy being favored. Chopra has been awful of late..but Petterson have never broken 70 here. Daniel was going through swing changes out on the Euro tour, thus the missed cuts, but he's had all of December to practice and get ready. (From His Blog in Nov).
My game hasn't been at it's best - some time off to work on my new swing in December is already getting me excited for the new PGA Tour seasonHe is still one of the best putters in the game. I do remember him saying mid November that his swing was getting closer.. thus the improvement in finishes.
This is a little bit of a risky pick..I just think Petterson hasn't played competitively in a long time, so its worth a shot. If he doesn't sound confident today in his interview I will be able to hedge out being that its + money..
